These have been difficult yet exciting days at Emmanuel. Joshua Sanchez was sent home yesterday after many difficult months and by God's grace is doing much better. On th other side, our sister Stella has been diagnosed with extremely advanced cancer and is really struglling at present and feeling pretty strong physical symptoms. Our hearts go out to those in our midst who are struggling! We are so grateful for a faithful God! He knows what He is doing!
In the midst of all of this we are taking final steps of preparation for the work in Bridgeton. It can seem overwhelming at times, all that must be done, but we are convinced that God has called us and that He will be faithful! Lord willing we will open doors for services by the end of June! How is it that our little church could be planting another church? Only one answer! God! We know it's all Him and ALL the glory will go to Him!
Estos han sido días dificiles y a la misma vez emocionantes aqui en la iglesia Emanuel. Josue Sanchez finalmente regresó a casa ayer despues de varios meses de lucha y por la gracia de Dios está mucho mejor. A la misma vez, nuestra hermanita Stella ha recibido un diagnosis de cancer muy avanzado y de verdad está luchando con symptomas físicas ya muy fuertes. De verdad nos unimos en corazón con nuestros hermanos que están sufriendo. ¡Estamos agradecidos por un Dios fiel quien nunca falla! ¡Él sabe lo que hace!Aun en el medio de todo esto estamos tomando los pasos finales de preparación para la obra en Bridgeton. Hay veces que parece inalcanzable y demasiado fuerte todo lo que se necesita hacer, pero estamos convencidos que Dios nos ha llamado y él será fiel. Dios primero abrirémos las puertas para los servicios para el fin de Junio. ¿Como es que nuestra pqueña iglesia pdría estar plantando una iglesia? Hay sólo una respuesta: ¡Dios! Sabemos que él lo está haciendo todo y toda la gloria es para él.
